There are three main types of sources you will use in your works cited page: books, articles, and websites. Each one has its own rules. If you are using a source that does not qualify as a book, article, or website -- such as a video, a social media post, etc. -- consult our e-books on MLA format , the MLA Handbook (print) , or the Owl at.
